The Best 3 Chocolate Orange Stick Recipe

Chocolate Orange Stick-

The Chocolate Orange Stick is made with a delightful orange jam filling dunked in dissolved chocolate – a most loved occasion treats Chocolate orange sticks are one of my absolute favourite holiday parties! When I was a kid, every year my dad used to get a box of chocolate-covered oranges in his stocking for Christmas and he has loved it ever since I learned to love him! I had recently received a recipe for this particular treat and I was really nervous that they wouldn’t taste in the box kind of way, but the homemade version was even better! They turned out amazing! Like many candy recipes, the process takes a little time but is definitely worth it.

You can store these at room temperature for a week (maybe longer, but they don’t last long at my house!) And they taste fresh. Since they are so easy to store, this candy makes the perfect treat to ship to friends and family who live far away – these are better than a lot of other homemade treats.

Homemade Ingredients for Chocolate Orange Stick-

3 tablespoons gelatin (I used 4 of the smaller packets)
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup hot water
1/2 cup cold water
2 tablespoons frozen orange juice
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
1 teaspoon orange extract
5-6 drops of orange color
12 oz Melting Chocolate or Chocolate Almond Bark
Soften the gelatin in cold water and set aside.
Add sugar and hot water, stir until dissolved. Bring to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the gelatin mixture and slowly simmer for 20 minutes over medium-low heat. Remove heat and add extra ingredients.

Add to well-lubricated molds. However, I additionally utilized two small pav pan for the rest of the blend and the paw pan worked with the silicone form itself.
Let the stand chocolate overnight and then dip in melted chocolate. I also dripped some white chocolate on top for fun. Enjoy it!

Every year I make Christmas candy to share with some lucky people. I don’t just do one kind, I make a bunch. Now that 12 days of Christmas candy have passed I am ready to pack it and share the love.

Some of these dishes are child friendly. (Some are not.) The kiddos will have a bang that will be able to help and you’ll be happy for some volunteers, especially when it comes to rolling truffles.

Take out your sweet tooth, grab a little elf, and have fun trying all these delicious treats!

Homemade Chocolate Covered Cherry
Now that we are all at a sugar high, I have one more candy to share with you! Chocolate-covered cherries.

Holidays would not be the same without these little beauties. We always have a box at our house at Christmas time.

I have looked all over to find a recipe with a wine center. Most cherries call for soaking cherries in some kind of wine. Since I am not a drinker, I wanted a recipe without it.

This chocolate-covered cherry recipe has the best of both worlds. First you have a crispy chocolate shell. Then, when you put one in your mouth, there is goodness of sugar in the middle. While it is not all liquid, you cannot tell it once in your mouth.

This Flavorite recipe can make TON of Chocolate Covered Cherry. Not all the hobbyists I used to wrap cherries. My cherry ran away and did not want to go to the store to buy more.

Ingredients for Chocolate Orange Stick-

2-3 Jars Maraschino Cherries
1 Stick Butter Soft
6 tablespoons corn syrup
1 can sweeten condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 lbs. powdered sugar
12 oz. Melting chocolate

Instructions of Chocolate Orange Stick-

Pour the juice from the cherry jar and set aside.

In your stand mixer, combine all ingredients except the cherries and chocolate into a soft dough.
Take a small piece of flour and wrap it around the cherry. (I’ve given way too much in the picture. Maybe 1/2 or 1/4 of that amount would be best.)

Roll the dough into a ball and place on a cookie sheet in a line. When all the cherries are wrapped, throw them in the freezer for about an hour to set.

Melt the chocolate in a microwave at 30 seconds intervals or as per package directions. Do not burn the chocolate. Dip the cherries in the chocolate and place back on the lined cookie sheet. Take a little chocolate and drizzle on top of all the cherries.

Now the hard part: Place your cherries in an airtight container and keep in a cool place for about two weeks. (You may have to try them daily to make sure they are getting good. Call it a taste test if you need to.) Enjoy!

This is one of the smartest ideas I have seen recently from King Arthur Flour Baker Circle.

Oh sweet kind sky. Cocoa Block. Very utilitarian name, no? There is nothing against my King Arthur people, because I really love them, but I think the name does not do justice to these little beauties. I have changed their name. After this, they will be called Hot Chocolate on a Stick.

Hot chocolate on a stick is a creamy chocolate confection that is like an ultra-rich fudge. As you can indicate by the new title, place these blocks of chocolate goodness on hot milk or nibbling sticks for ease.

You can just leave the squares alone and shake them in your hot drink. Or you can go one more step, as I am accustomed to do, and slant a marshmallow on top of a block of chocolate.

So if you combine rich fudge with luscious, velvety, light-hearted homemade marshmallows, it should follow that what you have made is heavenly. And it is. Oh is it!

There is not even a point on it, but in my kitchen it was the same thing between me and a potential S Career Apprenticeship commitment to my children. I hid in the bathroom with ‘hot chocolate’ on a stick and took away my irritation.

Not strictly. If you have gone super freak by making homemade marshmallows, you can buy marshmallows and slant the top of the fuse. I think if you use homemade marshmallow, it is infinitely delicious.

Ingredients-

Cream Cup Heavy Cream
14-ounce condensed milk can sweeten (1 1/4 cups)
3 cups semolina chocolate (3 cups chopped chocolate bars or chips)
3/4 cup uncooked chocolate (4 ounces)
Wooden sticks, lollipop sticks, candy canes or bamboo skewers

Optional, crushed candy canes, marshmallows and / or cocoa powder

Line an 9 x 9-inch pan with foil and set aside.
Join cream and improved dense milk in a substantial bottomed pot over medium warmth.. Heat until it is steamy, but not boiling, to avoid occasional scorching.
Add all chocolate and removed it from the heat.. To melt the chocolate for 10 minutes, allow it to melt without oil.
After 10 minutes, firmly until it becomes thick and shiny. You can add flavoring extracts or a few drops of oil at this point, or some powdered espresso or vanilla. Flickr again to include flavoring (if used).
Use a rubber or silicone spatula to spread the mixture evenly in your prepared, foil-lined pan.
Allow to cool at room temperature for 12 hours or overnight so that it is gradual.
Take the fountain from the pan and remove the foil. Place it on the cutting board.
Using a knife and dry wipes heated with hot water, cut the fudge into 16 equal sized cubes. You can either stick a lollipop stick (or candy cane) in the center of each block or leave it. Additionally, you can press the chopped edges of the fried into cans of crushed candy, roll them in cocoa powder, or topped with marshmallows.
Eat immediately or wrap tightly and store at room temperature.

Chocolate on Stick Cook’s Notes

This may sound silly, but make sure that you are using sweetened condensed milk and not evaporated milk for your fudge squares. You will not believe how many people have made this mistake, then have wondered why they will not be cheated.
Make sure you remove the cream and sweetened condensed milk pan from the heat before adding the chocolate.
With Homemade Marshmallow (although it is divine.) You don’t feel obligated to top these. When you skew these, you can top the cool, shredded feud square bought from the stored marshmallow.
If you preform homemade marshmallows, you can also submerge a layer of mini marshmallows on top of your fuse while it is still hot and press them lightly.
I recommend wrapping it individually with plastic wrap or treating the bag. Once wrapped, store them at room temperature.
